Chris Cole has been writing scores for short films and documentaries for the last 7 years. 

During this time his commissions include the Channel 4 documentary Bear Grylls: Mission Everest, which follows the Born Survivor star's attempt to be the first person to fly over Mount Everest using only a paramotor, the BBC2 series On Thin Ice, documenting T.V presenter Ben Fogle and Olympic Gold medallist James Cracknell's race to the South Pole, and BBC1 program Sue Johnson's Shangri La, which documents the T.V star's spiritual journey through China and Tibet in search of her lifelong dream - the lost, fantasy world of Shangri La.

As a musician Cole has released 2 solo albums under the moniker Manyfingers and has collaborated on over 15 albums with bands including Movietone and The Third Eye Foundation (Domino Records - Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand) over the past 10 years.
